Bieber Tourways uses the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Central Atlantic Retail On-Highway Diesel Price per gallon published weekly on the DOE web site as the base for determining the fuel surcharge. This price per gallon can be found on the DOE's web site at: http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/wohdp/diesel.asp. The surcharge is adjusted monthly based on the price per gallon as of the first of the prior month.

The January 2, 2012 DOE U.S. Weekly Central Atlantic Retail On-Highway price was $3.93. Per the Bieber Tourways Fuel Surcharge Table below, the surcharge for February 2012 would be 16.75%. The current round trip and one-way ticket prices include a 16.25% fuel surcharge and commuter tickets include a 15.25% fuel surcharge.

If the diesel fuel price equals or exceeds $4.20 per gallon, the Bieber fuel surcharge continues to increase 0.5% for every eight-cent increase in fuel prices.
